Dornbracht has appointed Christian Ennenbach as its new managing director, as it looks to drive forward operational development at company.
He joins the brand from a role as vice president of operations at furniture manufacturer Haworth Europe. He is said to have extensive experience in several areas, including finance, operations and supply chains.
Ennenbach will now work alongside existing CEO Caroline Schmitt. According to the company, his new role will see him being responsible for accelerating the “structural alignment of the organization, processes and systems” as he looks to ensure global growth.
His responsibilities will specifically include finance, controlling, operations with purchasing, production, supply chain and IT. Meanwhile, Schmitt will have responsibility for sales, marketing, category management, product development and corporate culture. Additionally, she will also remain as spokesperson of the management board.
“As a proven management expert, Christian Ennenbach will primarily support us in the development of our business processes, whereby his extensive experience of KPI-based corporate management is particularly valuable to us,” commented Caroline Schmitt, adding, “We are delighted that he will play an active role in shaping our growth strategy.”
Similarly, Ennenbach said he was “very much looking forward” to his new role at Dornbracht, which he called a “strong brand”. He commented: “I am convinced that my pragmatic approach to business challenges will ideally complement the existing management structure.”
In addition to the new managing director joining the company, 2025 is set to be a significant year for Dornbracht as it also looks to celebrate its 75th anniversary.
