Ripples Newbury celebrates tenth birthday

Husband-and-wife team Richard and Diane Garnett have celebrated 10 years as a Ripples bathroom franchise with a party at their Newbury showroom. Guests were welcomed with bubbly, canapés and live music.

The couple have been operating their store on Cheap Street since 2006. As a former customer of Ripples, Richard described discovering the franchise opportunity as his ‘light-bulb’ moment.

Both are also keen cyclists and recently joined forces with Ripples head office team and other franchisees from the network to raise money for Ripples’ chosen charity, ‘Sanitation First’, by cycling from London to Paris and raising over £15,000.

“It’s been an exciting 10 years,” said Diane. “The business really is going from strength to strength. We have a brilliant team, incredible clients and a showroom that we are continually developing, which inspires our design team and clients.”

Amanda Day, who runs the “back office” at Newbury Ripples, added: “There’s always something happening here, from charity fashion shows, showroom parties, cycling trips across Europe, Richard’s love of rallying and let’s not forget hundreds of beautiful bathrooms transformed by team Newbury. We watch to see exactly what the next 10 years will bring.”
