V-Zug CEO to step down in April

After holding the role for almost five years, V-Zug CEO Peter Spirig is due to leave the business next month.

In his place, V-Zug has appointed Christoph Kilian as his successor, who will step into the role of CEO on April 1.

According to the company, it will bid farewell to Spirig on April 8, saying it will “look back on our time together with great gratitude”.

V-Zug also added: “Under his leadership, V-ZUG has achieved significant milestones, driven differentiation including innovation and further strengthened our position as a Swiss premium brand.

“His strategic vision, commitment to sustainable profitability as well as his close collaboration with our teams have left a lasting mark on V-ZUG. We would like to thank Peter for his valuable contribution and wish him every success and all the best for the future.”

Prior to his time at the Swiss appliance company, Spirig also worked as president of Franke’s Asia division.
