Villeroy and Boch in kitchen collaboration with Störmer

German kitchen maker Störmer has announced that it is to manufacture the new range of kitchen furniture for Villeroy and Boch under licence.

Known for its premium offering in bathroom and wellness products, Villeroy and Boch said that the new kitchen furniture will further “expand its existing sinks and taps portfolio and offer customers a comprehensive solution for kitchens”.

The new kitchens will be produced by Störmer and distributed in the UK and Ireland through Euromobel.

The new kitchen range from Villeroy and Boch will be unveiled by Störmer at the Hausmesse show in Germany on September 14-20 at Forum 26 – Störmer’s exhibition centre in Rödinghausen.

Commenting on the collaboration, Christoph Fughe, managing director of Störmer GmbH, commented: “The exciting new cooperation brings together two leading German brands with a shared product synergy and ethos. We are thrilled to offer retailers and designers nationally and internationally access to a new design platform, with unique product and marketing benefits”.

Speaking of Villeroy and Boch’s move into the kitchen furniture market, David Jakob, head of brand licensing, said: “Discerning customers want high-quality brand products, especially in the kitchen – and that applies to technical features as well as furniture. The new kitchen furniture expands our existing sink and taps portfolio and offers customers a comprehensive solution for kitchens.”

Retail launch for the new range is scheduled for the beginning of 2020 and Eurombel and Störmer are inviting their current retail network and trade customers to the official launch at Hausmesse this month.
