Quartz surfaces manufacturer Caesarstone has expanded its UK workforce after the announcement of its new direct distribution model last month.
The new sales team includes: Leanne O’Connor, sales manager UK North; Deborah Matthews, sales manager UK Midlands; Gareth Lowden, sales manager south London and Kent; Chris Eades, sales manager South-West and south Wales; Sandra Burgess, sales manager Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex, and Sam Penny, sales representative north London and northern Home Counties.
The senior management team will include: Jon Stanley (pictured top right), vice-president of marketing; Neil Evans (pictured bottom left), operations director; Nicholas McLean (pictured top left), financial director and Guy Rawstorne (pictured bottom right), vice-president of sales.
The UK is a key market for Caesarstone, it said, and this is reflected in the investment in its UK headquarters in Enfield, north London, which includes a 42,000sq ft warehouse, offices and showroom that will open early this spring.
Said managing director Amir Reske: “Together with our team of dedicated sales and support people, we aim to offer the exceptional service that you would expect of a premium brand – a service that is in line with our global service standards.”
He added: “We want our facilities in north London to become a resource for fabricators, designers and architects in its own right – and our product design and innovations an inspiration to them. We now have everything in place to maximise the potential for Caesarstone in what will be a major market for the company.”
