Retired Beko employee passes away

Appliance specialist Beko has announced the death of Bob Abbott, who before he retired was  built-in national accounts manager for the company.

Abbott, who was 67, passed away recently following a short illness.

He was a well-known figure in the appliance industry having spent over 40 years in the sector, with various brands, before ending his career at Beko plc in 2012.

He is survived by his wife Lynn and four children.
