Retail giant Wren Kitchens has relocated its Rotherham showroom to brand new premises.
The original Rotherham showroom was established in 2010 but the new 16,336 sq. ft. space – located at Unit 4B, Parkgate Shopping Centre – allows for the addition of 35 full kitchen displays, five office displays, 21 bedroom displays as well as 16 Virtual Reality planning suites.
Each design suite is Virtual Reality-enabled, allowing customers to use headsets to explore their envisioned space, interact with appliances, and open and close drawers and storage solutions, creating a next-level interactive experience.
Customers are invited to explore sink and tap displays, a full kitchen and bedroom door style display area showcasing all colours and finishes available, an appliance centre, and can even ‘try out’ their new kitchen layout and configuration using the showroom’s spatial awareness bay.
Speaking about the new Rotherham showroom opening Nicholas Calton, general showroom manager said: “I am both excited and proud to be opening our new industry leading showroom at Rotherham Parkgate, the team and I are looking forward to showcasing our affordable luxury kitchens and bedrooms to the community of Rotherham and beyond. We look forward to welcoming new and existing customers through our doors in the near future”.
To celebrate the relocation, Wren Kitchens will be donating £500 to the mayor’s chosen charity, Rotherham Cancer Care. The charity improves the quality of life for people living with cancer by providing emotional and psychological support to them and their families, where and when they need it the most.
Mayor of Rotherham, Councillor Robert Taylor added: “We are proud to have had Wren Kitchens as part of our community since 2010 and the opening of this new Showroom represents a significant investment in our area, demonstrating the confidence that this leading national retailer has in Rotherham’s future.
The Yorkshire-based firm – which branched out into the US market in 2020 – recently opened a new 19,078 sq ft showroom in St Helens, Lancashire on the Ravenhead Retail Park creating 25 new jobs in the local area.
