Keuco report awarded German sustainability seal

German bathroom furnishings manufacturer Keuco has been awarded the German Sustainability Code (DNK) seal, after its recent sustainability report was praised by the German Council for Sustainable Development (RNE).

The achievement means that Keuco has been recognised as meeting the transparency standards that the RNE upholds, and Keuco can now use the DNK’s logo on its report. The report can be read here.

According to the company, the DNK seal means that Keuco meets all of the Council’s sustainability requirements, and that its sustainability work is achieving targets across 20 different criteria.

In addition, Keuco says the DNK seal helps the company illustrate to consumers how and where its products are used, and what happens to them over time.

Going forwards, Keuco will also be able to use the DNK seal to show evidence of its sustainabile credentials to national and EU organisations.

Keuco’s country manager, James Sketch, previously spoke to kbbreview about how he believes the industry will continue to see more products that combine accessibility with luxury design principles. In related news, Keuco’s Axess range also received a 2023 iF gold award in the bathroom product design category.
