BiKBBI conference 2025 postponed until September

The previous BiKBBI conference took place in February 2024

The annual BiKBBI Conference, which was originally due to be held in February, has been postponed to September, with organisers saying the delay ensures the event will remain “valuable and impactful for attendees”.

The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) recently announced that its annual conference, which was due to take place during the daytime on February 4, would be postponed until further notice. Despite this, its annual awards conference – which usually takes place in the evening of the conference day – will still go ahead as planned.

However, in a letter addressed to its stakeholders received today, the institute has announced the conference has been moved to Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

According to the BiKBBI, changing the conference’s date means the organisation can continue to work with the government on trade competencies, and said it will be able to provide attendees with “meaningful update at a more appropriate time in the proceedings”.

BiKBBI commented: “One again, we apologise for any inconvenience that the date change may have caused, however, we believe that the date change will ultimately support our purpose to drive positive improvement in the KBB installation sector, benefitting the whole KBB industry.”

Although the location of the 2025 conference was not mentioned, BiKBBI said a venue will be announced shortly. In addition, it also said it plans to “take the annual BiKBBI Conference on tour”, to make the event more accessible for stakeholders.

In November, BiKBBI also revealed it was launching its new AiM (Accredited Installation Methods) programme, designed to create a recognised industry standard for KBB installation. The organisation said the scheme reduces risk, demonstrates credibility, and provides quality assurance to retailers, installers and consumers.
