Smeg brings a taste of Italy to London

Smeg recently hosted ‘Casa Smeg’ in London—an immersive two-day event designed to showcase how its appliances can bring Italian style and functionality to the kitchen.

The brand teamed up with interior stylist Kate Watson Smyth to not only “bring ‘Casa Smeg’ to life” but to highlight the versatility and functionality of its broad product portfolio.

Throughout the day, press and influencers got to enjoy live cooking demonstrations from Smeg’s home economists and TV chef Clodagh McKenna.

The event saw guests welcomed into two kitchen spaces, each one said to “reflect a unique lifestyle but united by a love of great food”.

The first space featured Smeg’s iconic Fab28 fridge alongside two Dolce Stil Novo ovens – an Omnichef and pyrolytic oven – installed side by side. A matte black vented induction hob featured on the island.

The second space displayed a series of appliances from Smeg’s Neptune grey Linea collection. This included a 60cm wine cooler, a  45cm coffee machine with warming drawer and a 45cm blast chiller with a vacuum drawer.
