International KBB retail giant Wren Kitchens has just opened its milestone 150th global retail location.
The retailer says it opened four new Wren Studio concessions inside Home Depot stores in the Northeastern United States last month, which includes its first steps into the states of Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
These stores are located in Southington in Connecticut, Smithfield and Warwick in Rhode Island, and Chicopee in Massachusetts.
The Chicopee store is the one that pushed wren over the 150 mark, with the retailer now operating in seven US states in addition to its UK showroom network of more than a hundred stores.
The news follows Wren’s announcement in October 2024 that it was partnering with American home improvement specialist Home Depot, which would see the retail giant opening a series of retail concessions in the company’s stores. Wren began this rollout with Home Depot stores in Connecticut, with some reports at the time suggesting that it planned to open 100 such concessions over the next three years.
Wren first announced its expansion into the US market in 2020 with a store in Milford, Connecticut. In 2022, the kitchen giant announced it was looking to expand with a significant $30m investment into its stores planned along America’s East Coast.
And Wren’s expansion shows no sign of slowing down, as just this morning it also announced it planned to open five new US concession stores in the near future. These are planned to open in Wallingford, Enfield, East Haven, and Danbury in Connecticut, as well as West Springfield in Massachusetts.
