The Big Debate – a highlight of the Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association’s (KBSA) KBB industry conference – is back.
A statement from the KBSA said for 2025, “it promises to be more insightful, more interactive and more relevant than ever.” This year’s session will be facilitated by broadcast journalist Emma Crosby and features a panel of four of the industry.
The panel will include Liam Butler (design director, Butler Interiors), Lindsey Copperwheat (co-founder, TC Kitchens), Jamie Harding (founder and CEO, Et Lorem), and Lynne McBride (design director, Tolle Kitchens).
With an expanded session time of 1 hour and 45 minutes, this year’s debate will cover ‘The value of charging for design’, ‘Strategies for retaining top talent’, ‘Ongoing frustrations with supplier display terms’, and ‘Evolving consumer finance and protection’.
“This isn’t about talking at people, it’s about talking with them,” said Richard Hibbert, KBSA chair. “The KBSA conference is more than just an industry gathering, it’s a space for independent retailers to come together, share ideas and tackle the real challenges we all face.
“If you’re serious about growing, adapting and staying ahead in this market, this is the one event you can’t afford to miss.”
The KBB Industry Conference 2025 format includes the retailer dinner on Tuesday September 30, the evening before the conference on October 1.
