Boiling water tap specialist Quooker UK has recently opened its new purpose-built Manchester headquarters, and also set an ambitious goal of doubling the size of its business over the next five years.
The opening of its new HQ over the summer follows a £5.5m investment into the company, which the company said is aimed at driving innovation, operational excellence and long-term growth.
Located on Manchester’s Great Ducie Street, Quooker’s new Experience Centre is open to both trade professionals and consumers, giving them the opportunity to explore the brand’s full range of multifunctional tap products.
The HQ also features a dedicated virtual area, which enables its partners and consumers from further afield to connect directly with the brand through live one-to-one experiences.
According to the company, its new HQ embodies the company’s core philosophy of “GROWTH”, which it says is embodied by six pillars: “Graft, Resilience, Ownership, Winning, Trust, and Humility”. Quooker says these six values are underpinning its current expansion into direct-to-consumer channels, as well as logistics, technology and sustainability.
Aside from just the new HQ, Quooker also says its turnover is expected to break £100m this year, with the company’s goal now being to “focus on doubling the size of the business over the next five years”.
At the opening of the new Experience Centre, Quooker UK managing director Stephen Johnson commented: “When I started Quooker UK, my office was my kitchen table. No headquarters with experience centre. No team. Just belief in the product and a determination to do things right.
“This investment is about building the future not just for Quooker, but for our customers, partners, and the planet. We’re committed to doubling our impact while staying true to the values that got us here.
“This new HQ is not just a building. It’s a launchpad. A symbol of ambition,” he concluded.
In other news, Johnson recently completed an impressive 2,000km fundraising walk across Europe, which saw the Quooker MD taking more than 2.5 million steps in a single month, and raising more than £100,000 for charity along the way.
