Kitchen franchise Kutchenhaus has opened a new showroom in Kilkenny, marking the retail network’s first-ever step into the Irish market.
The showroom officially opened last weekend, on March 14. Owned and by Paula and Liam Holohan, the new Kutchenhaus Kilkenny store measures more than 3,300 sq ft and has more than 12 different displays. According to the franchise, the showroom offers German nobilia kitchens, along with brands such as Neff, Siemens, Smeg, Caple, Quooker, and Blanco.
The opening also marks kitchen designer and graphic designer Paula Holohan’s first showroom of her own. “Speaking with the team, I could see straight away the significant backing I’d receive if I were to become a franchise partner. From CRM systems to marketing, website and branding, it was explained clearly from the outset that we would not be doing this alone,” she said.
“There was an infectious, positive attitude, and I loved the fact that so many showroom owners in the network were also women. This was key in my decision to choose Kutchenhaus and I’m so pleased I did.”
According to Holohan, the Kutchenhaus team worked closely with her to review several different potential showroom locations, eventually settling on its Kilkenny site. “I can’t stress enough how incredibly beneficial this was and, once it was decided, I worked with the brand’s showroom designers to make the dream a reality,” she recalls.
“I have to pinch myself when I think of how far we’ve come. From showroom design and product training to technical support, there’s always been someone there to help me on this journey. They know what works, as they’ve been there and done it before. I joke that the new Kilkenny showroom is my baby, I’m that invested and happy with it!”.
In related news, Kutchenhaus also recently opened its milestone 100th showroom.
