Florim announces new CEO

Beatrice Lucchese has been appointed as the new chief executive officer at porcelain surface brand Florim, making her the third generation of the founding Lucchese family to lead the company.

She has been a member of Florim’s board of directors since 2021, and joined the company in an operational capacity in 2022, when she took on the role of technical sales engineer. Following that, Beatrice also took on a series of further roles before becoming chief commercial officer and project director.

Her appointment as CEO was decided on May 21, following a meeting of the company’s board of directors.

Founded by Giovanni Lucchese in the 1960s, Florim has been led by chairman Claudio Lucchese – Beatrice’s uncle – since 1984. Today, Florim says it employs more than 1,400 people worldwide and saw revenue of around €420m in the 2025 financial year.

“I am confident that my niece Beatrice will lead Florim with enthusiasm, expertise and determination,” commented Florim chairman Claudio Lucchese. “Over the years, she has combined vision, listening skills and a deep understanding of the company, building a solid path within the group. Her appointment represents an important step in Florim’s continuity journey, with a strong focus on the future and new generations.”

Newly appointed CEO Beatrice Lucchese added: “Florim is a strong, international company deeply rooted in the values that have guided its growth over time. My commitment will be to continue this journey with an open perspective toward market evolution, innovation and the enhancement of internal talent, while further strengthening Florim’s identity and its role as a leading name in the world of high-end porcelain stoneware.”

Following her appointment, chairman Claudio Lucchese will work to support Beatrice in her new role, with the company saying he will continue to lend his experience and strategic vision to the company’s development.

In related news, Florim also appointed former Laminam MD Gavin Shaw to lead its UK & Ireland business earlier this year.
