Masco appoints Brad Hiranaga as chief marketing officer

Masco Corporation has appointed Brad Hiranaga as its new chief marketing officer, a newly created role that the company said is designed to support the next phase of its enterprise growth strategy.

Effective immediately, Hiranaga joins the home improvement products manufacturer from Marriott International, where he most recently served as senior vice-president of global experience design.

Before that, he was chief brand officer at General Mills and held senior marketing positions during more than 20 years with Procter & Gamble.

In his new position, Hiranaga will report directly to Masco president and chief executive officer Jon Nudi and will lead the company’s enterprise marketing strategy, brand building and consumer engagement initiatives across its portfolio of brands.

The move forms part of Masco’s wider strategy to strengthen its commercial capabilities and support long-term growth.

Commenting on the appointment, Jon Nudi said: “Brad is a transformational marketing leader with an exceptional track record of building iconic brands, deepening consumer engagement and driving business growth.

“His experience and strategic vision will help accelerate our enterprise growth strategy and further strengthen the competitive advantage of our leading brands.”

Hiranaga added: “Masco has an outstanding portfolio of market-leading brands and a strong foundation for growth. I look forward to working with the talented teams across the company to deepen consumer connections, strengthen our brands and help drive the next chapter of Masco’s growth.”

Masco’s portfolio includes a number of brands serving the kitchen and bathroom sectors, including Bristan, Hansgrohe, Delta Faucet and Brizo, alongside brands in paint, hardware and wellness products.
