Square: Clean lines and defined edges deliver a sharper, more contemporary aesthetic.

For retailers to find success, a bathroom collection needs to work across a range of projects, from compact cloakrooms through to larger family bathrooms. That is where VitrA’s S20 range has been designed to fit, bringing together ceramics and furniture with a choice of styles, formats and practical features.

The latest update expands the collection with new S20 toilets and bidets, alongside a wider choice of furniture, while retaining the straightforward styling and accessible positioning that defines the range.

The new S20 ceramics offers customers a choice between two distinct looks. S20 Round uses softer curves for a more relaxed, classic appearance, while S20 Square takes a more defined approach with clean lines and sharper edges.

Both styles are available across close-coupled, back-to-wall and wall-hung WC formats, making it easier to maintain a consistent look across different bathroom layouts. Matching S20 bidets are also available in round and square options, including back-to-wall and wall-hung formats.

Practicality is built into the ceramics, too. S20 WCs feature VitrA’s SmoothFlush technology, with no rim or hidden openings where dirt and bacteria can build up, making the pans easier to clean. VitrA Hygiene Glaze provides 99.9% protection against surface bacteria.

That combination of choice and specification can make S20 a useful option for retailers when customers want a contemporary look without adding unnecessary complexity to the scheme.

Round: Soft curves create a more relaxed, timeless look suited to a wide range of bathroom interiors.

Furniture that works harder

The furniture update gives the collection a similarly broad offer, with S20 Round and S20 Square vanity units available in a range of widths and configurations.

The updated range includes two-drawer and door units, as well as tall units that can add useful storage where floor space is limited.

The 45cm S20 furniture options are particularly suited to smaller bathrooms and cloakrooms, with versions supplied with an integrated washbasin.

For larger schemes, there are 60cm and 80cm options, while tall units measure 35cm wide and 1,450mm high. The brochure also highlights reversible door configurations on selected tall units, giving designers more flexibility when planning layouts.

There are four core furniture finishes across the new S20 Square offer – High Gloss Anthracite, High Gloss White, Maple Oak and Cordoba – giving retailers scope to create anything from a crisp, pared-back scheme to something warmer or more tonal.

The S20 Round furniture includes High Gloss White and Maple Oak finishes.

Practical detail

The S20 furniture is designed with everyday use in mind, with soft-close doors and drawers and full-extension drawers on relevant units to make storage easier to access.

The combination of different unit sizes, configurations and finishes means the range can be specified across a variety of bathroom types rather than being tied to a single room size or layout.

VitrA’s website also highlights the range’s emphasis on storage, with suspended units helping to maximise available space and tall cabinets providing additional capacity without taking up much floor area.

That flexibility is arguably one of S20’s biggest strengths. A retailer can specify the same overall collection across different projects while changing the shape, furniture configuration, finish and WC format to suit the customer.

And because the ceramics and furniture sit within the wider S20 collection, the opportunity is there to create a more complete bathroom scheme around a consistent design language, from the WC and bidet through to the washbasin and vanity unit.

VitrA’s S20 washbasins are available in wall-hung, pedestal, semi-pedestal and semi-recessed formats.

The message is clear for independent retailers. That breadth gives S20 plenty of scope as a versatile collection that can be tailored to the space, the customer and the level of specification required.
