elementalLONDON, the latest event from the team behind InstallerSHOW, has announced the content themes that will be at the heart of its inaugural event later this year.
According to organisers, the event will host five content areas, which will all feature seminars and debates on major issues facing built environment professionals.
The elementalARENA will feature lively debates and interactive sessions on advancing the efficiency of buildings. Speakers at the theatre will include government ministers, academics, industry leaders and prominent figures from the event’s industry partners, covering policy updates, innovation, skills and much more.
Also at the event, visitors can visit the Housing Hub, which will feature sessions curated by the event’s industry partners, with essential information for councils, housing associations, housebuilders and developers. In this theatre, speakers will discuss topics such as decarbonizing home heating, retrofitting hard-to-treat homes, approaching the future homes standard, and accessing funding for efficient social housing.
The event will also host the Climate Solutions Theatre, which will feature content for those working with heating and cooling in commercial and public buildings. Expert speakers will look at the issues in the round, from the policy landscape to industry trends to the activity ‘on the ground’. Some of the topics discussed during the event will be the decarbonization of HVAC, the challenge of big buildings, indoor air quality, and building standards for refrigerants.
There will also be two Build2Perform theatres delivered by CIBSE, as part of their strategic partnership with the event. In addition, elementalLONDON will also feature masterclasses and content streams curated by several of its industry partners, such as the Institute of Refrigeration, the Bathroom Manufacturers Association and the Heat Pump Association.
“Our content programme will showcase the industry’s most influential voices,” promised Lucy Dixon, head of content at elementalLONDON. “They’ll be sharing insights on creating efficient buildings, with guidance on tackling our existing building stock as well as new projects. Our goal is that every visitor will leave the show feeling inspired and energised to deliver better buildings for their communities.”
Yvonne Orgill, managing director UWLA and member of elementalLONDON Advisory Board, added: “Education is key to creating change in our industry and elementalLONDON is an ideal platform for us to reach those involved in the built environment.
“The London show in 2025 will bring together expert speakers and provide an opportunity to share knowledge and exchange ideas, by working together in this way we can all achieve so much more.”
elementalLONDOn will be held on November 19-20, at the ExCel in London. With the ethos of ‘advancing the efficiency of buildings’, the event will host more than 4,000 specifiers from across the built environment industry.
