Kitchen World’s latest Dublin showroom marks a significant milestone for the retailer and “showcases the growing appeal of German kitchen design”, says Derek Pearse, national sales director.

Kitchen World continued its expansion across Ireland in 2025 with the opening of a new showroom in Sandyford Business Park, Dublin.

Opened in September last year, the 2,200sq ft space became the retailer’s 10th store nationwide and its second dedicated German kitchen studio. It’s in one of Dublin’s best-known destinations for interiors and home improvement, and is designed to attract a broad customer base, from renovators and self-builders to homeowners looking to upgrade their kitchens with premium products at accessible price points.

The single-level showroom has been created around Kitchen World’s premium German offering from Nolte, alongside ideas for bar areas and coordinated living furniture. Displays focus on current design trends, blending contemporary styling with practical storage solutions and lifestyle-led layouts.

Visually the space adopts what national sales director, Derek Pearse, describes as a distinctly German aesthetic. “The showroom has a modern German look and feel, with a rich and atmospheric style throughout,” he says.

“We’ve used plenty of moody dark tones balanced with softer inviting colours to create warmth and contrast. The overall result is a space that feels contemporary, luxurious and inspiring, while still being welcoming and comfortable for customers to explore.”

One of the showroom’s highlights is a display combining Lava matt lacquer with grooved blackened oak veneer. Pearse says: “It has a striking presence, blending soft earthy tones with deeper textured finishes. It captures everything modern German design does well – clean lines, premium materials and a perfect balance of style and practicality.”

The decision to partner with Nolte was driven by the breadth of the manufacturer’s offer and its suitability for the Irish market. With a wide range of door styles, finishes and carcass options, the retailer believes it can deliver greater flexibility across both tastes and budgets.

“Our ethos is built around giving customers exceptional design, outstanding value and a genuinely enjoyable experience from first consultation through to final installation,” Pearse explains.

Kitchen World plans to keep refreshing the showroom with new displays and innovations while continuing its wider growth strategy.

Following the opening of both the Galway and Sandyford showrooms in 2025, the retailer says it has ambitious plans to further strengthen its presence across Ireland over the next 12 to 24 months.
