Hi-tech products will drive growth in the bathroom market in 2016, according to a new report.
MTW Research has predicted retailers will enjoy high levels of consumer confidence and increased growth in the high-value sector of the bathroom market.
It found that new technologies that are using the internet, such as smart showers, remote lighting and mirrors with Bluetooth speakers, offer new opportunities across the sector.
The report also forecast there will be “sustained growth from Internet of Things (IoT) devices in 2016, as consumers demand more connected and digitally controllable bathrooms”.
This predicted surge in the bathroom industry will be fuelled by rapid housing transaction growth, low unemployment and sustained vigour from specialist retailers.
