Blum used its 324sq m stand at this year’s kbb Birmingham to showcase some of its latest innovations – including a booth demonstrating Alexa opening and closing cabinets by voice command.

Something else that caught our eye was the Space Step. This step and plinth pull-out system extends with a single touch to allow access to higher levels in the kitchen. A family- friendly solution, users can safely and easily access worktops, sinks, and washbasins.

It is suitable for step heights of 150mm to 250mm and cabinet widths ranging from 400mm to 1,200mm.
