Bathroom retailer Ripples has been listed as one of the UK’s top franchises in the HSBC Elite Franchise Top 100 awards.
Ripples was ranked at number 93 in the awards, which recognise the franchise sector’s brightest businesses and rank them according to various criteria, including heritage, financial performance, innovation and their contribution to the community.
Commenting on the listing, Ripples managing director Paul Crow said: “We are delighted to rank in the award’s Top 100 on our very first time of entering. We worked alongside our franchise partners throughout 2020 and 2021 to rapidly evolve and develop the business to cope with a challenging environment, doing so with great success. Not only have we increased sales for our existing network, but we’ve also increased the number of businesses within our group, with the opening of brand new showrooms. This prestigious acknowledgment caps of a great year for the whole Ripples team and we are proud to be recognised as an award-winning business opportunity for ambitious entrepreneurs too.”
Elite Franchise brand director Scott English added: “We feel that Ripples has well and truly earned its place in the Top 100 list. This league table shows just what Britain has to offer. Each year, the ranking becomes more competitive and this year has been no exception. Brands were also judged on any measures they initiated to survive the challenges of 2021, along with ambitions and growth targets for the next financial year. Achieving this position is a testament to all that Ripples has achieved – they have consistently demonstrated a gold-standard level of franchising.”
This year’s list of top franchises also included Vodafone, CeX, Clarks and Subway, while two other KBB companies also made the list – Dream Doors and Granite & Trend Transformations.
More than 700,000 people are employed in franchising throughout Britain and each year the industry contributes more than £17 billion to the UK economy.
