Meet our finalists: New Bathroom Retailer of the Year 2026

The kbbreview Retail & Design Awards are the biggest awards in the kitchen and bathroom independent retail industry. Here, we take a look at the finalists for the New Bathroom Retailer of the Year 2026.

New Bathroom Retailer of the Year 2026

Sponsored by Flair.

This category celebrates entrepreneurs launching new retail businesses. It is a brave step to start something from scratch but the industry always needs new blood, new ideas and new approaches if it is to continually evolve. We want to highlight those people and reward their thinking.

This is a great opportunity for the awards to actively support the leading retailers of tomorrow and encourage those moving the industry forward.

The winners will be announced at the gala black tie event on Monday, March 2 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.

Artis Bathrooms, Elkstone, Gloucestershire

Founded in November 2024 by Tim Haddock and Lizzie Mason, Artis Bathrooms is a Cotswolds-based retailer and design studio offering complete bathroom solutions. Situated in Elkstone Studios, a retail hub of converted barns, the showroom combines compact, thoughtful displays with personalised client experiences, including a coffee-on-arrival service and a comprehensive sample library.

The company prides itself on its in-house installation team, delivering a single point of contact from design to completion, ensuring projects are executed with precision.

Artis Bathrooms serves busy professionals, second-home owners, and B2B clients such as architects and designers. Marketing relies on social media, local partnerships, networking events, and a forthcoming strategic marketing plan to drive further growth.

The Bath Works, Poole

Founded by Kate Ware and supported by business partners Steve Ware and Ross Pavey, The Bath Works began as a small studio in 2017 and has since expanded to three showrooms across Dorset, including the recently completed Poole location.

The Poole showroom features zoned areas including a dedicated tile room, presentation spaces, and interactive displays for a range of budgets and styles. Its standout Wellness Suite showcases steam, whirlpool, chromatherapy, aromatherapy, and smart WC technology, allowing customers to experience the benefits firsthand. Sustainability is embedded throughout, from LED lighting and underfloor heating to smart sockets and energy-efficient designs.

Marketing includes social media campaigns, print advertising, property-focused networking, hospitality events, and digital signage, targeting both retail and B2B audiences. The Bath Works balances everyday bathroom solutions with high-end, wellness-focused displays to appeal to a broad demographic.

Founded in September 2023, Brinton Interiors has rapidly established itself as a design-focused, customer-first bathroom retailer in Kidderminster. The family-run business combines a curated showroom, advanced digital visualisation, and a full-service installation model to provide an end-to-end experience.

Operating with a focused two-person team – Laura Lewis managing showroom operations and Ash handling fitting, marketing, and digital media – the company delivers highly personalised service, from initial consultation and CAD design to project completion. Its target audience is homeowners seeking elevated, mid–high-end bathrooms with an emphasis on design, craftsmanship, and long-term value.

Brinton Interiors differentiates itself through personal attention, design expertise, and operational control, supported by its installation partner GraftHaus. The business also prioritises supplier quality, selecting brands that offer consistent performance, protected pricing, and strong aftercare. Marketing leverages social media, local partnerships, and community engagement, positioning the brand as a premium destination for bathroom solutions.
