New in Projects: June 2026

Our monthly round-up of recent design projects designed by kbbreview readers. This month, we've got a bathroom that doubles as a pink paradise, and a Scandi–Japandi kitchen with a hidden doorway…

Designer: Justine Bullock

Company: The Tap End

Justine’s clients were undertaking a full home renovation prior to moving in, including two cloakrooms, a shower room, a bathroom, and a master ensuite. This guest shower room was designed primarily for visitors.

Inspired by a high-end London hotel bathroom featuring white marble and traditional styling, she drew on the brief to create a soft white scheme with basket weave mosaic, including wall-hung sanitaryware and brushed bronze brassware for a contemporary contrast.

For a co-ordinated look, a white glass flush plate, white shower screen and mirror were specified, with a contrasting radiator finish, ensuring a pared back, yet stylish, functional guest bathroom.

Designer: Nick McNally

Company: Kitchens by Nick McNally

Working alongside Mills + McCullough Architects and Copper Grey Development, Nick McNally helped transform this one-bedroom period cottage into a calm, open-plan living space for his clients.

For the focal point kitchen, Nick opted forpremium Sachsenküchen cabinetry, styled in Fabiola oak veneered brushed in Farrow & Ball’s no.57 – an off black finish – paired with quartz worksurfaces and Buster & Punch handles.

He also supplied joinery used across multiple areas of the property which helped bring the entire project together.

Designer: Lucy Beechinor

Company: Alexander

The clients wanted this bathroom to feel indulgent, relaxing, and more personable in style.

Based on their brief, the initial concept was inspired by the bathroom of a local luxury hotel and restaurant, which the client really loved. The theme was to be vibrant and fun, with a pink tile used throughout to half height, teamed with dark grout to match black brassware and flooring.

A further splash of colour was added in the form of a curved Calypso Levanto sink unit in a Fir Green finish, which blends well with the pink and black accents.

With no need for a shower in this space, Lucy opted for a bolder look, created with a freestanding bath with feature wall. A bath filler completes the freestanding bath look, and a storage niche has been created for additional storage.

Designer: Shaun Lenane

Company: Audus Kitchens

Introduced via Seth White Architects, this kitchen formed part of a collaborative redesign where the original concept was refined to suit both the clients’ brief and product specification.

A Scandi–Japandi aesthetic was achieved through a balance of light tones and natural timber, pairing Nobilia cabinetry in Premium Honed Sky with Como Oak for warmth and contrast.

A key design challenge was creating a hidden doorway to the utility room. After exploring several options, including flush doors and wrapped furniture solutions, a bespoke timber panelling detail from Wood Veneer Hub was introduced.

Shaun used integrated LED strip lighting to turn this practical requirement into a considered architectural feature within the scheme.
