Bathroom Association unveils sustainability finalists for 2025

Reflecting its ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship, the Bathroom Association has revealed the finalists for its upcoming Sustainability Awards.

Open to both full and affiliate members, the BA says its awards recognises a diverse range of initiatives designed to pave the way to a greener future. According to the association, this year’s finalists “exemplify creativity, determination, and forward-thinking approaches to sustainability”.

The awards will be presented as part of the Bathroom Association’s Connect Conference Gala Dinner on 17 September. Although only one winner will be crowned, all five finalists will be presented with commendations for their exceptional entries.

The finalists for 2025 are:

  • Thomas Dudley Limited – For Quantum, described as the world’s first pushbutton toilet syphon, which is revolutionising water efficiency.
  • Kohler Mira – For its Mira Advance Heatloop, which is designed to enhance energy performance and support the decarbonisation of UK homes.
  • Triton Showers – With ENlight with HeatRepeat, its first electric shower designed to integrate with Waste Water Heat Recovery Systems.
  • Eco-cistem – said to be the world’s most environmentally friendly toilet cistern, which is set to enable large-scale water savings
  • Roca Group – For its electric kiln, which it says is transforming ceramic production with a focus on sustainability and precision.

Reportedly, the judges for this year’s Sustainability Awards commented that “virtually all submissions demonstrated a strong understanding of environmental impact challenges”, and described settling on the winner as “a challenging task”.

Tom Reynolds, Bathroom Association CEO, said: “These awards are a celebration of innovation and dedication in our sector. Each finalist is an example of how the bathroom industry can lead the way in tackling environmental challenges, and we are proud to showcase their achievements.”

In related news, Tom Reynolds is set to step down from his position at the association next month, with Daphne Doody-Green poised to take up the reins from 1 September.
